Wipptal/Eisack Valley: Search for a location with the potential to become a special learning environment
We are currently searching for a location that could be developed into a “workshop of becoming”—for educational projects and youth work initiatives, but also for a diverse range of community-focused initiatives. A farm in Ratschings is currently under consideration. We are now assessing how well the location fits our needs and whether the project is financially viable. At the same time, we are keeping an eye out for other potential places of inspiration.

The Search for the One Ideal Place of Power in the Wipp and Eisack Valleys
Now that the Oberberg farm in Pfitsch—which had been the focus of attention for quite some time—is no longer for sale, the foundation is looking for a new property. The Klotzhof in Ratschings is now under consideration. The farm is ideally located, with a bus stop about 400 meters away. A small parking lot could also be built there to keep the farm car-free. The farm consists of the firehouse, with the feed shed attached to it. Next to it stands a “workshop shed,” and in front of the farm are the remains of the former bakehouse. The farm is situated on a spacious expanse of meadows, bordered on the mountain side by a forest.
